Modeling the Urban Semiarid Environment

This project seeks to model the urban, semi-arid hydrologic environment of Los Angeles to improve the understanding of the local groundwater resource. For this project we utilize a parallel, distributed hydrologic and land surface model, run at a high spatial and temporal resolution. The use of this modeling framework allows us to model various scenarios of interest in pursuit of our goal.
